Planned Giving

Planned giving, sometimes referred to as gift planning, is a great way to leave a charitable legacy—helping to ensure that the work and impact of the Dialogue Institute and/or Journal of Ecumenical Studies continues well into the future. In many cases, donors may be able to make larger gifts than they could make from their current income.

See below for the most common and simplest planned giving options. And please notify us if you have already included the Dialogue Institute in your estate plan. In addition to welcoming you to the Swidler Legacy Circle, we would like to thank you for your generosity!

Leave a Legacy
To include the Dialogue Institute in your will, trust or as a beneficiary of a retirement account, life insurance policy or other asset, you only need the following information:

  • Legal name: Dialogue Institute

  • Federal Tax ID Number (EIN): 23-2715057

  • Date of Establishment: 1984

  • Address: Temple University (062-56) / 1700 N. Broad Street, Suite 315 / Philadelphia, PA 19121

A donation to the Dialogue Institute and/or Journal of Ecumenical Studies can be a meaningful way to honor or remember a loved one.

If you make a donation with a check, be sure to indicate of whom the gift is in honor or memory; and if you would like us to send an acknowledgment to the honoree or to the family, please include name(s) and a mailing address; if you donate online, you will be prompted to provide that information if you so choose.

Sample bequest language: "I give to the Dialogue Institute, Federal Tax ID Number 23-2715057, located at Temple University (062-56), 1700 N. Broad Street, Suite 315, Philadelphia, PA 19121, $_________ (or _____% of the rest of my estate) to be used for general purposes."
