Religious Pluralism Tours
The Dialogue Instituted launched a pilot for their upcoming Religious Pluralism Tours led by Dr. David Krueger on September 28th, 2019. This tour was created in conjunction with John Bright from Christ Church and served as the pilot for a program the DI plans to bring to the public. The walking tour was 2.5 hours in length and covered areas of religious significance in Philadelphia. Staff and Board Members from both the Dialogue Institute and Christ Church, as well as a few community supporters, attended this informational tour. The tour concluded with a roundtable dialogue on Religious Pluralism in Philadelphia at Christ Church.
Dr. David Krueger, a Historian and Program Director at the Dialogue Institute, highlighted instances of religious freedom and diversity of the early history of Philadelphia. This tour demonstrates the exceptional in the mundane and lends a new perspective on the historic streets of Philadelphia. The Religious Pluralism tour addresses popular folklore and offers information forgotten by our history books.
